Slovenia
Slovenia is a young mid-European state, steeped in tradition and possessing fantastic scenery on the sunny side of the Alps. It is a nation of two milion people, with a distinctive and clear identity, which has preserved its individuality at a strategic "crossroads" for 1,500 years.
First impressions of the landscape are of green hues as far s the eye can see. There are ven wooded areas inside Ljubljana, the capital city with 300,000 inhabitants. This old settlement with more than 2,000 years of history is now a modern town. It is a national centre with outstanding culture available in its many fine art galleries, theatres and concert halls.
The combination of Slovenia's geographical position and charming characteristics provide an environmentin which delegates will quickly fell at home; here is some information to help ensure that happens.
